The company specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, drainage, plumbing and electrical solutions for the Residential, Hotel, Care Homes, Student Accommodation, Leisure and Commercial sectors.
From their network of offices they manage projects from the concept stage to completion, working in collaboration with customers and supply chain while retaining the friendliness and support of a traditional family firm.
Your new role
As M&E CAD Technician you will be required to:
- Create all drawings to the company standard
- To make sure any drawings are revised where needed
- To make sure all drawings are issued to the relevant people and distributed to site when necessary
- To make sure any drawings received are filed correctly.
- To update and edit drawing issue sheets
- To create X-Ref’s of new Architects drawings when received
- To keep constant communication with Design Engineers with regard to jobs being worked on
- Liaise with Suppliers and Sub-Contractors
- Collaborate with Architects and engineers on projects Using a CDE
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of CAD platforms (AutoCAD)) & Microsoft Office documents (1 to 2 years minimum of using AutoCAD Design) and possess a high level of computer literacy with a good working knowledge of a variety of computer packages including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
What you’ll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £40,000 + package including hybrid working
