The company specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, drainage, plumbing and electrical solutions for the Residential, Hotel, Care Homes, Student Accommodation, Leisure and Commercial sectors.
From their network of offices they manage projects from the concept stage to completion, working in collaboration with customers and supply chain while retaining the friendliness and support of a traditional family firm.
Your new role
As BIM Co-ordinator you will be required to:
- Create all drawings & Models to the company Standard
- To make sure any drawings & Models are revised where needed
- X-Ref’s of new Architects drawings when received
- Liaise with Suppliers and Sub-Contractors
- Collaborate with Architects and engineers on projects Using a CDE
- Creation, Modification, and ownership of MEP Revit Models
- Attend project-related meetings onsite or in the office
- Ensuring Models are accurate & easy to interpret.
- Clash detections are to be produced and clashes resolved.
- Ensuring adherence to the project BIM Execution plan
- Liaising with design teams, clients, architects, surveyors, engineers, and project managers
- Maintain Model Integrity throughout the project.
- Maintain BIM Library
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proficiency with software such as Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks – examples of work will be requested at interview
- An understanding of the requirement for building services co-ordination – working to have knowledge of BS 1992, PAS 1192 and BS8541
- Familiar with assurance processes, codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
