The Directors have a wealth of combined experience spanning more than 70 years, from low level temporary assignments and fixed term contracts, through to permanent placements, and executive search, on a contingent or retained basis. They are also experts in compliance and risk management, assisting customers to navigate the complexities of engaging self-employed individuals, to mitigate liability.

The Groups foundations for success have been built on people, quality and service delivery, where much of our growth is attributed to longstanding business partnerships by delivering and exceeding their expectations.

The Directors

Darren Burnett

Managing Director
A former professional sportsman, Darren has transferred many of his attributes to excel in developing businesses and professional relationships. His drive to be the best and his ability to break down problems to find solutions have proved invaluable both in progressing his career and then going on to train his own staff. Darren's first business was incorporated in 2003 and ever since, he has been providing solutions for his clients. He has developed working relationships based on trust and commitment, that go far beyond every day operations and requirements. In his capacity as a MD he has become a consultant to his clients, forming strategic alliances across multiple sectors. Utilising his knowledge and expertise, he adds value, exceeds customers expectations and his reputation has been established, through the quality of the service he provides.

Elliott Lewry

Director
An established Recruitment Director boasting an impressive client portfolio gained over 29 years in the Mechanical and Electrical contracting arena. Elliott owes his success to the relationships formed over almost three decades and the client recommendations he has received. Elliott is a passionate, dedicated recruitment professional and possesses an in-depth knowledge of both the industry he represents and the workforce within it. His career began as Consultant for Lane Associates where he was introduced to one of his current business partners. He was headhunted by Right Associates to head up their Industrial Division responsible for contracts in excess of 400 staff and later headhunted again by Knight Benton before returning to Lane Associates some years later at the Directors request. Lanes was sold to The Options Group and Elliott continued a very successful career for a number of years. It was no surprise that Elliott was headhunted when The On-Site Group was formed in 2003 and progressed very quickly to Branch Manager for both Portsmouth and London offices within The On-Site Group Ltd. A loyal and committed team player Elliott is now one of 3 business owners of an exciting and forward-thinking recruitment business, passing on his experience and knowledge to the next generation whilst continuing to build new and strengthen existing relationships within the Mechanical and Electrical marketplace nationwide.

Phil Terrell

Director
With more than a decade of comprehensive experience in the recruitment industry, Phil has established himself as a seasoned expert, known for his strategic approach and in-depth understanding of the market. He began his career with one of the world's largest and most respected recruitment firms, where his performance and leadership abilities quickly propelled him through the ranks. In a relatively short time, Phil achieved the role of Senior Manager, overseeing large, dynamic teams across the construction and building services sectors. Throughout his career, Phil has been instrumental in the successful management of both freelance and permanent recruitment departments. His extensive knowledge of the industry, combined with a keen insight into the unique needs of both clients and candidates, has enabled him to consistently deliver tailored solutions that meet the specific demands of the marketplace. Phil’s diverse background provides him with a well-rounded perspective, allowing him to effectively navigate the complexities of recruitment in highly specialised sectors. His dedication to building and nurturing long-term relationships with industry stakeholders is a testament to his commitment to driving success for both clients and candidates. Phil remains passionate about creating impactful connections and is continuously focused on fostering collaboration and growth within the industries he serves.
