An independently owned turn-key contractor who manage the delivery of a wide range of infrastructure solutions on a national and international scale, from simple pipe repair to full-scale building construction. With clients ranging from large corporate private sector clients to MOD, MOJ and other government bodies.
Due to growth within the business, they require an experienced Civils Contracts Manager to join the team. Reporting into the regional Director, you’ll have responsibility and autonomy for the running of multiple sites simultaneously.
Your new role
Specialising across the Civil Engineering sector, typical projects include: General Civils, Groundworks, Roads & Sewers, Utilities, Earthworks & Structures.
As Contracts Manager, you will hold a senior role within the business and will be reporting directly into regional director of the business, and have the progression to grow and own responsibility for development as the company continues to grow
Typical day to day duties include:
• Overseeing multiple live projects at any one time
• Supervision of site teams and leadership teams on site
• Supply chain Management
• Compiling progress reports
• Stakeholder Management
• Management of H&S on site
• Pre- and post-contract paperwork and documentation
• Completion of CPP
What you’ll need to succeed
You must be able to demonstrate solid & stable experience as a Contracts Manager working on Civil Engineering / Groundworks projects. You will hold all relevant qualifications & site tickets. You will have strong commercial skills and understand NEC & JCT forms of contract.
